Race route
The vast majority of the race route will be managed under rolling road closures (typically up to 30mins) and further information can be found on our website. However, there will be some fixed closures on the race route;
- Greenhow Hill (Royal Oak Pub in Pateley Bridge to Greenhow Village) will be closed from 11am to 2pm (diversion route in place)
- B6160 Bishopdale (Streethead Inn to Buckden) will be closed south bound from 12.30pm to 2.30pm (diversion route in place)
- Greets Moss and Grinton Moor will be closed from 12.30pm to 3.30pm (diversion route in place)
Start (Helmsley)
- Castlegate will be closed from 6am to 12noon
- A170 will be open except from 10.45am to 11.15am when the race starts (rolling road closure)
- B1257 will be open throughout (but when A170 has rolling closures there will be delays)
- Part of the Cleveland Way Car Park (coach park and rear car park) will be closed from 6am to 12noon
Finish (Leyburn)
- Wensleydale Railway are running services from Leeming Bar and Bedale to Leyburn for the race finish – details can be found on their Facebook page
- Signed diversion routes will be in place for traffic in and around Leyburn (please allow extra time for your journey)

- The Wensleydale Show parking field on Bellerby Road (comfort.reporting.farmland)
- Field next to Tennants on Harmby Road (sticks.reflector.elevator)
- Field opposite Tennants on Harmby Road (slope.mulls.pranced)
- Wensleydale Rugby Club on Wensley Road (sport.fetch.engulfing)
